The Filthy 50 mile riders will leave downtown Lanesboro at 10:30am under police escort, heading south and then east as they follow the creek climbing Grosbeak and Gentle then eventually descending on Easy Street. They will then climb the infamous Dew Drop and turn south towards “The Big Woods” and Amish country. These riders will want to consider their options when they reach Grub Hill and keep their wits about them when they hit the Amish maintained MMR just west of Henrytown. After making their way down Grit Road, crossing our finish line in downtown Lanesboro is gonna feel good. This route will feature several minimum maintenance roads, 3200+ feet of climbing, and perhaps a surprise or two along the way. It ain’t easy, but nothing worth doing ever is.
The Pretty Filthy 25 mile riders will leave downtown Lanesboro at 10:30am under police escort along with our 50 mile riders. They will follow the creek as they climb Grosbeak and Gentle eventually descending on Easy Street and then will turn south, following Gribben Creek out of the valley. After an epic return featuring Grit Road, it will be a hero’s welcome as they cross our finish line in the middle of downtown Lanesboro. This route features minimum maintenance roads, 1900+ feet of climbing, and some of the prettiest scenery you ever did see. The Extra Filthy 100 mile riders will leave downtown Lanesboro at 8:00am under police escort, taking our riders west and north toward Pilot Mound then north and east toward The Village of Rushford. Our riders will then adventure south through the small river town of Peterson and will meet up with the 50 mile route further south in Amish country. This route will feature several MMRs and 7000+ feet of climbing. This route is packed with valleys and vistas, and as tough as it is beautiful. It’s bound to push your limits. Plan accordingly.
