Preston kicks off the annual trout opener with Trout Days in May. This is our annual town celebration where we celebrate everything trout and beyond! You can go fishing on the 9-hole Fishing Course, bring the family to the kids fishing contest, or even check out the Car Show! Learn the fundamentals of rock climbing as you work to reach your climbing goals on our 30 foot-high, indoor wall with routes to suit every level of climber. No prior experience required, as our indoor wall offers over 35 routes ranging from beginner to expert. The 30 foot wall has various features including multiple overhangs, cracks and a chimney. Eagle Bluff Staff will be there to provide belay services and ensure safety and success. Climbers of all ages are welcome.
Eagle Bluff will provide harnesses and helmets. Climbing shoes will be available if desired, but tennis shoes work fine. Personal climbing shoes are allowed, but please refrain from bringing in any other outside equipment (i.e. harnesses, chalk, belay devices).
Knit your own cuff or cup sleeve. No prior knitting experience necessary! This workshop is free and all materials will be provided. Spots are limited and registration is required.

Bring your dancing shoes to Historic Forestville for a square dance in the recently preserved Meighen Horse Barn.
The large barn at Historic Forestville was built in 1894, and at the time, was the largest building in Fillmore County.
Music will be provided by Bob Bovee & Pop Wagner with Anni Spring calling the dance steps. Food and beverage will be available.
